This course is designed to give students the basic knowledge to install a solar hot water or space heating system. It aims to achieve this through both a formal classroom workshop setting and hands-on installation activities.

Over three days students will install two different solar water heating systems: closed loop pressurized and closed loop drainback. Participants will expand their knowledge on alternative energy sources, and expand the range of products and systems they can install and service.

The course is taught by Bob Ramlow, an ISPQ Certified Independent Master Trainer in Solar Water Heating and a NABCEP Certified Solar Thermal Installer with over thirty years experience installing and maintaining solar water and space heating systems. He is also the author of Solar Water Heating, A Comprehensive Guide to Solar Water and Space Heating Systems.
