Geothermal Engineering Technician
Course Description

Geothermal heating and cooling technology is expanding rapidly in Canada. Higher fuel prices and growing concern about climate change from greenhouse gas emissions is creating a rapidly increasing demand for geoexchange systems and therefore a very positive job market for technicians to work in this industry. The program will include fundamental engineering courses in math and applicable sciences and thermodynamics. Graduates will be trained to work in the geoexchange field as systems installers and designers. The program is designed in cooperation with the Canadian GeoExchange Coalition, the national governing body for the industry.
